Don Tatum is Director of Booz Allen Hamilton Army Engineering Team .He has nearly 30 years of executive management, program management, and engineering experience. His background includes extensive experience in system development and engineering technologies that support them. Mr. Tatum brings deep operational knowledge and thought leadership to clients by helping them establish, plan, and execute programs of all types and complexity across the entire program or product lifecycle.
Mr. Tatum spent over 12 years at Alcatel-Lucent (formerly Lucent Technologies) in various roles including Public Sector Leader and Program Director for Lucent Government Services. As Program Director he led the Iraq Reconstruction Program for Lucent Technologies.
Mr. Tatum is also an Army National Guard Major General with 30 years of service. Major General Tatum served and was deployed to the Middle-East as the Commander of the 135 Expeditionary Sustainment Command and Deputy Commander of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command.
He is active in professional associations and nonprofits, including FIRST, AAAA, AUSA and NGAUS.
He holds a B.S. degree from The University of Alabama; a M.S. degree in from Troy State University, and an M.S. degree in National Security and Strategy Studies from the United States Army War College. Mr. Tatum holds a certificate from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government National and International Security program . His military education includes completion of the Infantry Officer Basic and Quartermaster/Ordinance Advanced Courses, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College. His other certifications are Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, PMP from PMI, and CMMI Certified.
