FIRST® T-Shirts by FOW WOW Designs  http://firstinalabama.org/get-invovled/first-tshirts

These FIRST designs have been created exclusively for FIRST in Alabama, an organization dedicated to inspiring young people in the state of Alabama to be science & technology leaders!
A portion of your purchase goes directly to support FIRST!

This is a local company that has generously designed and will donate part of the sells of the shirts to FIRST in Alabama. In addition to these very Retro shirts, Neil will be onsite for shirts to purchase at the Rocket City Regional!

Apparel will be sold on location by long time robotics shirt guy, Neil Krech and his team.  They have been providing apparel at various FIRST robotics events all across the country.  You will be able to customize your t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, tie dye T's, etc...  Choose from different designs/logos.  Sleeve prints, custom team numbers and other designs will all be applied, as ordered, while you wait.  Please keep an eye out for a flyer with the Rock City Regional logo on it.  We look forward to seeing everyone in their new gear!"

Hi Deep Spaace Crew,

Would you be interested in taking ownership of the eye glass stations at the Regional?  You can decorate the table in your teams colors/logos/posters/banners, etc!  The tables will need to be staffed during the periods that the pits are open.

Thanks and let me know!

All the Best,

New Software Requirements for your event

Since Stop Build Day, Team Update 14 has been issued. This update mentions new software requirements for your event, and we want to make sure everyone is aware of the update (and how to manage it). Note that even though the software changes come from NIthe update suite is required for all teams, regardless of programming language.

Team Update 14 can be read in its entirety here:  https://firstfrc.blob.core.windows.net/frc2019/Manual/TeamUpdates/TeamUpdate14.pdf

What You Will Need

  • A computer running Windows 7 or later that you can take to your competition. This, ideally, will be your driver station laptop.
What To Do At Home
This will ensure you have the latest software on the computer. When you arrive at your competition, you can update your roboRIO as soon as your robot is unbagged.

DO NOT UNBAG YOUR ROBOT TO PERFORM THIS UPDATE UNTIL THE INSPECTORS HAVE CLEARED YOU TO UNBAG THE ROBOT AT THE EVENT.

What To Do At The Event
Once the update is complete you may have to redeploy code.

If you have any spare roboRIOs that are not currently in the bag, you can set up a test configuration and upgrade those at home, as well. If you do the “At Home” steps now, then you will be ready to go ASAP once you get to your competition.
